Allianz wanted to change the way we think about breakdown insurance. They didn’t want it to be insurance at all. Drawing inspiration from the mobile phone PAYG model they devised a concept whereby you only pay when you breakdown. After signing up to become a member and creating an online account, that’s it. Forget about it. If you happen to break down, jump on the app and you’ll be recovered, or your vehicle repaired on the roadside by one of a network of trusted partners. A set repair price list let’s you know exactly what you’ll be paying so there’s no smoke and mirrors, excuse the pun!
